Siemens Mobility is hiring a Software Developer - Train IT to develop and maintain diagnostic and data analysis platforms for innovative rail vehicles. The selected candidate will work on locomotive projects, vehicle diagnostics systems, embedded software development, and data communication solutions. Key Responsibilities - Define system requirements and interface specifications for vehicle diagnostic systems. - Gather, analyse, and structure software requirements. - Develop software architecture for remote data transmission. - Integrate external devices with vehicle control systems. - Develop diagnostic management and landside communication solutions. - Implement software for embedded systems using Linux. - Support other development engineers. - Perform software integration and testing. - Ensure software functionality on vehicles. - Upgrade and develop application software using the V-model approach. - Coordinate with engineers and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. Education - Bachelor's or Master's degree in: - Computer Science Engineering - Electrical Engineering - Electronics Engineering - Related technical discipline or equivalent qualification.
